Red Robin’s is good. Though… now that I think about it, it’s kind of like… a cross between a gourmet eatery and a Chuck E Cheese’s.

Chem and Pool.
Chem review was nice. Went over a good number of things I was having some trouble with. And donuts. I had like 8.</glutton> And family is visiting today! Kim, Jeff, Zac and Chase are over, and we were in the pool for about 5 minutes when we started to hear thunder. I hate the weather.

Jupiter One - Jupiter One [2005]
indievidual: Anyone like space rock? Yeah, so do I. Wikipedia calls these guys indie rockers, and I guess that fits a bit, but I definitely think most of their grounding would definitely be considered space rock, albeit in a much more literal sense, when you consider a bunch of things: their artist name, the titles of their songs, the lyrics and their meanings, the sounds… that’s certainly what...

So, Viva is finally out.
And I listened to some of it! It’s not classic Coldplay by any means (well, maybe it is, in a way). It’s more like… if Coldplay was a brand new band, what you’d expect to hear. What I heard is good, at any rate. I’ll be checking the rest of it out later… for now, though, I’m listening to some MGMT.

Ugh...
Oh man, thank god that school is over soon. I really can’t handle any more of this studying for finals… this story we have to read for our Spanish final is… really fucking weird, for lack of better terms, and I don’t want to read it. I don’t understand the Math I need to know for my Math final. I barely remember anything from the first half of US History. Chemistry...

#indie Radio Show #001
#indie’s first radio show, hosted by aszwet1, was a great success! …If you don’t count trees going through windows. Or power outages. Or other such things. Anyway, the recording I made of it kinda sucks (and unfortunately cuts out a bit and has some other stuff in the middle) but it’s going to be uploaded soon. You can catch it then. Keep your eyes on this post!

I think the MacHeist IRC channel should be more active. Who’s with me?

Darren Hayes - The Tension and the Spark [2004]
I posted this at indievidual earlier: Remember Savage Garden? Well, their lead singer, Darren Hayes, has his own solo career nowadays, and his second solo album, The Tension and the Spark, is nothing short of some of the best electronic pop I’ve ever heard. With a whole lot of call-backs to the 80’s (including the fact that the entire album was programmed on a Fairlight CMI), its sounds fit...

Yay for pizza.
I’m willing to bet $20 that the Second Great Depression (yes, capitalized) will start sometime within the next year and a half… you know what? Keep your money - you’ll need it.
