Mew - Introducing Palace Players
When an album’s name is No More Stories Are Told Today I’m Sorry They Washed Away No More Stories The World Is Grey I’m Tired Let’s Wash Away, you know it’s got to be good, right? Yeah, it’s a bit of an obnoxious name, but I’ve been awaiting this new album by Mew ever since I heard their classic Frengers, which has gone on to be one of my favorite albums of all time. The first single off the album is called Introducing Palace Players, and even the name brings to mind Bo Madsen’s (lead guitar) quote saying that Mew are “the world’s only indie stadium band,” if not just the song. In the meantime, you can also check out four more new songs from them (one of which, Repeaterbeater, is also on the new album) in addition to Introducing Palace Players on their No More Stories EP.
