Melee Beats - Filtered Friday
I hope I remember to actually do this weekly. I might make it monthly if I keep forgetting.
Melee has been an up-and-coming disco producer for… well, quite a while now. He recently posted up this awesome… funky… thing to his thesixtyone page after featuring it in one of his weekly disco mixes, from which the song gets its name (or is it the other way around?). It has horns, and due to how awesome it is, it’s my pick for Song of the Week for the week of August 21st! I guess you could call it “house music” if you wanted to, but he’d probably smack you upside the head, just cause he’s badass like that. With tunes like this, though, it’s a wonder he isn’t being smothered in label deals.
