Jupiter One - Jupiter One [2005]

indievidual:

Anyone like space rock? Yeah, so do I. Wikipedia calls these guys indie rockers, and I guess that fits a bit, but I definitely think most of their grounding would definitely be considered space rock, albeit in a much more literal sense, when you consider a bunch of things: their artist name, the titles of their songs, the lyrics and their meanings, the sounds… that’s certainly what I would call “space rock.” It’s really an excellent album - from the catchy I-wish-it-was-the-alarm-on-my-alarm-clock Countdown, to the longing sadness of Moon Won’t Turn (and all the other songs on the album, of course), this album is definitely some awesome stuff. Check it out.

About

I like music a little too much. Half of my iTunes library is unlistened to, so I'm on a quest to listen to an album of new-to-me music every day, and along the way I'll be sharing some of my favorites, both modern and classic.
